Obituary of Linnea D. Breding

Linnea D. Breding age 100 a resident of Lantern Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Coralville died following a short illness on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at the Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials donations may be given to Hospice of Iowa City. Linnea Dorthea Lindstrom was born on October 27, 1903 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Gustav and Christena Anderson Lindstrom. She graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago and married Ralph Breding. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Detroit, Michigan. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting and cooking. Her family includes one daughter: Jill and husband Lloyd Pelling of Iowa City, three grandchildren: Jill and husband Curt Starens of Kansas City, Kansas, Victoria Pelling of Chicago, Karen and husband Craig Levine of Denver and one great grandson Daniel Bramer. The Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service are caring for Linnea services and her family.
