Obituary of Julia A. Montgomery

Julia Ann Montgomery, age 76 formerly of 2230 Palmer Circle, Iowa City died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at the Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center in Coralville following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2005, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with the Reverend Jack Gallagher officiating. Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1pm until services on Friday. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Lantern Park Nursing and Rehab Center. She graduated from Iowa City City High School in 1948 and the Iowa City Business College in 1950. She was employed as a secretary for the General Stores Department of the University of Iowa for forty-two years, retiring in 1990. Her family includes nieces and nephews. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
