Obituary of Harold Wayne Henderson

Harold W. Henderson, 73 of Iowa City, died suddenly Tuesday, June 07, 2005 at Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, Iowa. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 9, 2005 at the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Iowa. PLEASE NOTE DATE OF BURIAL IS NEXT MONTH. Online condolences may be sent for Harold’s family though our website @www.gayandciha.com. Harold was born August 5, 1931 in Johnson County, Iowa to James and Bessie (Schrader) Henderson. Harold had been a resident of New Horizon Residential, Tipton, Iowa for a number of years, working in the dietary department. The past few years he resided at Iowa City Care and Rehab Center where he was well known for his open, cheerful personality. Harold’s family includes five sisters, Anna Laschanzky of Stoutland, Missouri, Mary Halstead of Iowa City, Erma and husband, William Dallege of Rochester, Iowa, Edna and husband, Bob Keefer of Florence, Arizona and Helen Greenhaw of Kissimmee, Florida and a brother, William and wife, Fran of West Liberty and nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents.
