Obituary of Dorothy F. Shank

Dorothy was born in Stratford, Iowa the daughter of Connie and Orma (Sanders) McDonald. She married Harold C. Shank on June 24, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa. The couple made their home in Iowa City for all their married lives. Harold died March 20, 1998. Dorothy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Iowa City. Her family includes her son and his wife, Ron and Sandy Shank of Iowa City; two grandsons, Greg and Steve Shank of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers, Ray McDonald of Virginia, and Frank McDonald of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Everett McDonald.
