Condolences
Mary Ann was such a positive young woman. I didn't know her extremely well, but I remember her infectious smile and attitude that filled the hallways at City High. To all of her family and friends, my prayers are with you- she was a beautiful person.
For all who loved Mary Ann, I offer my deepest sympathy. I met Mary Ann through my sister when Mary Ann was 8 years old. I will always remember her fondness for dogs and cats, especially a sweet little wiener dog named Bairyn that I introduced her and Amanda to. May God comfort all who mourn.
Dear Donna,
I was so sorry to hear of Mary Ann's death. Not sure if you remember me but I was the social worker that worked with you and Mary Ann at Hospital School. I know that you and Mary Ann went through a lot surrounding her injury, but I always thought that you were a great team. Donna you provided wonderful care and guidance for Mary Ann. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

Expressing sympathy in the loss of Mary Ann. She was a real nice girl and very intelligent. She will be missed.
Mary Ann was probably the smartest woman I know. Her mind was like a steel trap.. We had alot of fun together, one time I made her a Cinderella gown for Valentines Day, Brothers was having a bar party and she wanted to look like a fab. chick. She had a crush on the bartender..... I asked her once why in the world did she polish just one hand, and all different colors but not the other hand. Her reply was that was her signiture .... Mary Ann we all will miss you terribly. My heart is with your Mama and Manda. Hey, maybe she and my Jonny can play their computer games together in Heaven..
I am so sorry for your loss. Mary Ann was an awesome woman. Always smiling and wanting to chat. She always filled me in on which actor was hot at the moment but never will I forget her love for James Patterson or Mr . Jackman. Always put a smile on my face listening to her talk about them. She will be greatly missed.
Mary Ann and I got along super great....she always had a smile on her face and something very sweet to say to me. Mary Ann was in Study Hall at City High that I supervised and we would chat about life and it's challenges...I often would see her on the Coralville bus when I would take my grandson Hayden on our Saturday bus rides into Iowa City and she would always greet me with "Well hello Mrs Hesseltine" Im going to miss her sweet disposition and that smile..

Sorry to hear about this I met her only a couple times but she was very sweet
So sorry to hear of her passing... I enjoyed her visits to the clinic. She always made me smile.
Sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. She was a brave woman in spite of her challenges. She usually smiled whenever I met her.
While I never got to meet Mary Ann, I know her through the eyes of her father, Edward. He always spoke of her with pride and love and wished he could spend more time with her. I am unable to attend the funeral because I just got out of the hospital and am recovering from pancreatitis. I will keep your family in my prayers and extend my deepest sympathies.
