Obituary of Lonna J. Jones

Lonna J. Jones, age 47 of Solon died Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Mercy Hospital from cancer. A celebration of Lonna’s life will take place at 6pm Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, with the Reverend Renee Luneman officiating. A memorial fund has been established in her memory to benefit her children. She worked at as Medical Technician at Mercy Hospital and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics since moving to this area about fifteen years ago. Her family includes her two children, Alex and Ben Jones; two brothers, Mark Jadwin and his wife, Debbie, and David Jadwin and his wife, Monique all of St. Louis, MO; sister, Christina Rounds and her husband, Duncan of Clifton Park, NY; her biological father, Jim Johnson of St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her parents who adopted her as a child, Fred and Sandra Jadwin. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for Lonna’s family.
