Condolences
My condolences go out to the family and friends for your recent loss. During this trying time we have pleasant memories of our loved one. Be assured that the God of all comfort has your loved one tucked away in his memory too. May he console you with the positive hope of being able to see your loved one again.
Mable was indeed a friend to everyone. She kept a very level head at all times. We love her very much and know that she is now rejoicing in the presence of the one who loved her even more.
Mable was such a sweet lady. She loved the Lord and she loved her family. We miss her here in Ankeny. She always had a smile and an encouraging word. We are praying for your family as you go through the loss of dear Mable. There is comfort in knowing we will see her again and spend eternity with her in the presence of our Saviour.
Mabel was such a sweet lady! I didn't know her well, but I consider myself lucky to have known her at all. I met Mabel a few years ago through my sister, Lola Travis. In 2011 or 2012, Sis and I brought Mabel's cousin, Ruby Travis, to visit with her in Iowa. Ruby and Mabel were very close as young girls and truly enjoyed each other's company, so we were very happy to help give them that opportunity to visit and reminisce.
Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. May memories comfort you as you reflect on a life well-lived. I like to think she and Ruby are enjoying a nice chat in their heavenly home!
Mabel had the spirit of the Lord living in her and passed it on to her family. She will be missed!! ...sending my sympathy and prayers to all!

I have such fond memories of Mabel in our JOY group at Ankeny Free Church. I always think of Mabel as "The Energizer Bunny", who lived life to the fullest. She has been missed since moving from Ankeny, and I know she leaves a big hole in the lives of her family and friends everywhere. We rejoice in knowing that Mabel is now with her savior Jesus Christ, and we will be reunited with her in the near future when the Lord calls us home, either in the Rapture or death.
We enjoyed knowing Mabel and helping her move to Iowa City several years ago. She loved to talk about her grandchildren! One day when we drove her home from church she talked about her own grandmother.. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear about Mabel. She was such a sweet lady and I am so thankful I got to know her while she was living at Maplewood Village here in Ankeny.
Please except my condolences for the loss of your mom. Learning of your mom's passing gave me so many great memories of your mom. A great lady was packed into that litte body
Our heartfelt condolences to the whole for family.
Hoefer family,
The church at large has lost a great saint of the faith. We thank God for the faith she passed on her wonderful family. May the Lord bring to memory the great times you had together. Please accept our condolences.
Chris, Sheila and Family - I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is joyous that you know where Mabel is for eternity, but that doesn't lessen the loss you feel of losing your Mother. I adored your spunky Mom when I was at Ankeny E Free. She said what she thought and didn't hold back...I admire that in a person. I hope the memories you will hear in the coming days will bring you joy and laughter.
