Obituary of Patricia Ann Hass
Patricia Ann Hass, 80 of Coralville died Monday, February 7, 2011, at Windmill Manor Care Center in Coralville.
Patricia Ann Nolin was born January 13, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Burton and Dolores (Hickey) Nolin. She attended Clinton Catholic Schools, graduating with the Class of 1949, “The 49’s”. She married Arnold Hass later that year at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clinton. She lived most of her life in Clinton, but has also lived in Dayton, OH, and Davenport, IA. While living in Davenport she resided at the Kahl Home for many years, leaving to live in Coralville to be near her daughter. While living in Clinton, she was employed at Mercy Hospital for many years retiring in 1994.
“Pat” lived a full life, she had many interest and hobbies which included literature, the arts, and dancing. Sharing her interests made an impact on all of her children’s lives. But most dear to her heart was her grandchildren, especially her great-grandson, Tyler.
Her family includes her four children, Susan Kieso of Iowa City, Maureen (Allen) Bailey of Iowa City, Stephen Hass of Tipp City, OH, and Dolores (Joseph) Boda of Ft. Worth, TX; six grandchildren, Gabriel (Samantha), Charlotte and Patrick Pieczynski, Nathan Kieso and Maureen (Cullin) Garvey, and Alex Boda; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Davis and Gabriella Pieczynski; three step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandson; siblings, Ray (Kitty) Nolin of Steamboat Springs, CO; David Nolin, and DeAnna (Bob) Smith of Rice Lake, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kathleen Siefken, and cousin, Janet O’Connor who was raised with her.
