Dear Anita: We are very sorry to learn of the death of your dear mother. Sincerely, Mike Kienzle and Susan Frye
Thoughts and prayers to Katie's family. She was very supportive of the Magic Valley Men of A Chord Barbershop Chorus and it was also a pleasure to see her smiling face in the audience.
My Sympathy to the family. I remember when my father (Harold) passed away and my son, Brian, was having a hard time. Katie took him and spent extra time with him. She was a great woman.
George, family and staff,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss of your dear Katie. Remembering all the many times over the years that you were there for all of us and our families and hoping our thoughts bring some comfort to you.
George, Anita and Ted,
Dear George, Anita and Ted,
Dear Anita, George and Ted,
I am so very sad for all of you. I wish I could be there with you but please know that I am sending my love and prayers. Your Mother and wife was a wonderful lady and I have many memories of her as a Brownie Leader and as Anita's Mom and my friend.
You are a very special family to me as you are to many people.
Please know how many people love you all.
Love, Moira
Dear Anita, George, Ted and all others,
George You have our condolences Vern and Jean Thudium
Dearest George, Anita, Ted: Where to start ..........................................I have only the fondest memories of the Gay family during my youth. George was at the hospital to hold our hands when dad died in 1971. Katie was always serving the Lord at First Christian, bringing in delicious treats to those famous potlucks downstairs; Anita and Ted and I were often in bible school classes together during our elementary school years; Anita was a blessing to our family when mom died two years ago. As youngsters, Ted and Mark and I sat in the front row pews while Margaret Stober (in the choir) kept 'shushing' us while we entertained each other.
Hi George and Anita--Our friendship goes back over 65 years starting in Nursing and medical school days and involves a couple of generations. The loss of a mother and spouse differs from all others. Our vey warmest thoughts to you. Bill and Debrah
George, I am remembering Katie as the super great gal she was in the years I knew her both in our Pro-America Group and socially. I know you will miss her but take care of yourseelf as you know she would want you to. Time is marching on and we know that is the way of things. May God be with you!
Fondly, Marjie Hogeland
George,
I was sorry to hear of Katie's passing. She, and you, bring back many memories, including the passing of Dad and Mom (Joe and Florence) but also the interactions of good people at the church. She was a great person; she'll be missed.
My sympathy to George and family. My mom graduated with "Katie" in 1946 U of Iowa School of Nursing.
I was shocked to learn of Katie's passing and I want to offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Bob and Marge

George and family: I want to extend my sympathy to you in the loss of your "Katie". As you know, she was one special lady. And George, you and I know from our years of experience that without those wonderful ladies behind us, we would not have been as successful as we were. I always remember her ever present smile, and outgoing personality. She was always willing to talk with a person, and always enjoyed those conversations. I enjoyed running into her at conventions, as could always learn something from her. George, I know this is a big loss for you as you two had such a special bond, and it will leave a real whole in your heart. I will pray for strength for you and for your family members in the coming days as you grieve your loss. May God watch over you and Bless you. Kindest regards,
Mark Wenthe, 500 1st Street East, Altoona, IA 50009 (formerly with Hamilton's most of my life).
Dear George and Family,
George, our thoughts and prayers are with you as well as the rest of your family. Knowing Katie was such a delight. She was a woman with such class! She always took time to sit and talk and inquire about what was going on in your life. She was loved by many....and will be greatly missed by all that were fortunate enough to get to know her. Rest in Peace Katie......
George, I remember how much my parents, Earl and Lucille Croskey, enjoyed your friendships. My condolences are to you and the family. God bless all of you,
My condolences, George. Peace be with you.
