Howard was a treasure trove of information...he remembered every person's life history....who their parents and siblings were, who they married, which kid belonged to which father or mother, etc. He could pull names out of nowhere and give you birthdates and death dates, wedding dates and, in some cases, divorce dates! He was a loving, caring and generous man and he loved all of his relatives and friends with unabashed delight. I can still hear his laughter when he talked about "his horses" and how he'd blush when you asked him who his girlfriend was...he was so disappointed when Vanna White married someone else, but loved her anyway and wished her well. He could talk for hours about the fish he caught or the trips he'd go on with Arlene to see relatives and friends. Carl was his buddy! They had a special repport that was heartwarming to watch...the love and repsect they had for each other was very special. We will always remember Howard and the special place he made for each of us in his heart. Vaya con Dios, Howard. We love you.
