Shirley and Family,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many memories of Jack, going all the way back to the Larry and Mary Kramer Gun club days. Shirley, you and Jack took me under your wing and let me travel with you to many shoots as a puller. My favorites were always the Iowa State Shoots. After working all day in the heat, I always looked forward to being back at camp. The cookouts (which included the best sweet corn ever) and sitting around listening to all the stories. As a teenager at the time, it was quite an education.

Another memory of Jack would have to be when Jeff and I, Steve Manary, Harry Manary and Jim Neuzil visited Jack to buy some components. Jeff and I bought his old suburban to use as a target and component hauler for the Oakley Gun Club. Jack was always so kind to share a visit, a drink and a laugh or to. He has shot his way through the gates of "Trapshooting Heaven" for the bigest bang ever.

Chris and family,

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing, you have the sympathy of the Havel's in your time of grief. Jack and Dad enjoyed many good times together in their trapshooting activities. One must think they are busy planning another shoot with many of their old friends.

We were so sorry to learn about Jack's death. Shirley, we were glad we were able to find your home and visit for a few minutes last month.
