Pam loved life. She loved the day that she and Marty brought into this world, their special miracle, Chris! Pam also loved her nephews immensely. She truly enjoyed her family, all of her dear friends and of course her dogs! While growing up she was involved in 4-H, at West High she was voted the friendliest person of their senior class, lettered in softball and basketball, at the University of Iowa she was one of the Scottish Highlanders. With Chris, she was always there in the bleachers, seats, along the sidelines, in the classroom, she simply loved being Mom! And it wasn't just for Chris; many of his friends considered her their second mom. Her parents, Marty's parents, their families, this was her life that she was so blessed with and them with her!
Her family includes her husband, Marty; their son, Chris and his dear friend, Renee Yoder; Pam's parents, Dale and Helenjean Heck; sister, Deb Heck; brother, Dave and his wife, Suzy Heck; nephews, Cutler and Braxton Simpson and DJ and Gage Heck all of Iowa City; brother-in- law, E.K.
