WE REGRET THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE SERVICE THIS MORNING, BUT OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES AND KNOW THAT HE IS AT PEACE.
Perry and Judy
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.
Russ was a great guy and I was fortunate to have known him for a few years. We first met when I had a cafe in Grimes and he came to breakfast there. Later we would meet (with Matt, Dick and Ava) at the Corner Cafe in Urbandale for breakfast. He was always a gentleman and interesting to talk to. And yes, he was a great Packer fan like me. My condolences to the family, and I am sure you have many fond memories of Russ. I will miss him.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Russ through DeWitt Electric. I'm at the DeWitt shop and he was at the Iowa City Shop. I enjoyed many good conversations with him. A very nice man!
Rusty and Family-
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Dawn, Rusty and family- I'm sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Russ was always very kind to me. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. Sending my love & prayers, Kathy Miller
Dawn,
We are saddened to hear about Russ. They broke the mold when they made him. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. We are so lucky to get to know him. We are thinking of your whole family at this time. Celebrate his life this week. He will be missed by us all. Kevin
Dawn - I'm saddened to read iofyour dad today. I remember many times you sharing stories of your dad and family - both during his time here and in Iowa City. I'm thinking of you and your family as well as keeping you in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know how hard this time is, just take it one day at a time.
Dear Stutzman family,
Russell quickly became one of Anna and my favorite people after she met him her freshman year at Grand View. His kindness, candy suckers, smiles and interest in their team I'm sure only scratched the surface of the kind of man he was. No words from me can blunt your loss, nor should they. While your tears will someday turn into smiles as those loving memories randomly float across your mind, time is the only healer of the heartache. His legacy - you and your family - is significant and speaks volumes of who he was. Embrace your emotions and bask in the knowledge that he loved you dearly and was so proud of all of you!
Sincerely,
The Dolezal's
Awe Russell, I am so happy I had the pleasure to know you. You were always so nice to visit with and nice to everyone around you. I will sure miss seeing you at Rusty and Aimee's. Rest in peace my friend! Wendi Bjorheim
Russell, What a Great man & an even better friend to not only myself, but also Connie & a bunch of other people! I hope they leave the northeast booth @ The Corner Cafe empty for the next week in memory of you! I'm sorry we didn't get to say goodbye, but when we meet in heaven I hope you have some coffee for us [& cream]! God Bless! Fred & Connie Crawford.
