I am deeply sad,hearing about the passing of tony. I moved to iowa city in 1999 and worked with tony at leisure time rental( now rent a center). This man became a dear friend of my wife and i for several years. He showed me the entire iowa city area and surrounding little towns as we delivered furniture tvs washermachines dryers etc. He truly showed me around this town for sure. He was a loving somewhat stubborn young man but we were truly good friends. His father Francis was a very nice man, as one day having car problems on the highway Mr. Francis came and helped me out, now thats a friend. Got to no his Dad pretty well when they lived on Napoleon Drive in Iowa City. Ran into a friend of his name Chris(just yesterday october 28th 2019) And was floored by him telling me and wife. We(wife and I) was just talking about Tony, we had not seen him for awhile, not knowing he moved to Lone Tree. Well, my friend you are in heaven now and i m missing you. You will be greatly missed. Mr Francis you are in my prayers. Im going to try and find you, and let you know. RIP my FRIEND. Sincerely ROB SHADE.

I knew Tony for a long time, and he always had for me smiles and kind words. He also spoke his mind and that's something I will always love and cherish about him. That, and he could make me laugh like none other. I wish it hadn't been so long since we last saw each other. My condolences to Willy, to Tony's children, and to the entire family.
