Obituary of Tony Rodgers

Tony Rodgers, 46, of Lone Tree, died suddenly at his home.

A gathering of family and friends to remember, share and celebrate Tony’s life will be held from 5:30 to 8 pm Wednesday at Shakespeare’s Pub & Grill in Iowa City.

It is with a heavy heart that today we said goodbye to my son Tony.  He passed early this morning and we have spent the day with family and an outpouring of love and support from Highland Community School family.  He was stubborn to be sure but he stood up for what he believed in, worked hard when it was needed and if you were part of his family you never had a doubt that he loved you.  We can take comfort that he is with my Mom and Dad and my sister Theresa now.  I am so blessed that you are best friend and my son.  You will be missed.
