Condolences
My deepest sympathy to your family. Paul’s dedicated service to the people of Iowa will never be forgotten. Paul’s gracious gift of sharing his knowledge of Iowa’s geology and well forecasting skills enabled us all to serve to our fullest potential. Paul was truly a kind and considerate person. May God Bless You in your loss.
I worked with Paul at the Iowa Geological Survey in the 80s. I'm sorry to learn that he suffered from Parkinson's for a number of years. But he certainly lived a full life! My heartfelt sympathy goes to his family.
Paul was an amazing professional who served Iowa with a heartfelt desire to make a difference. I worked with Paul on a groundwater project that will leave a lasting public health impact. Not only was he passionate about his geology but was genuinely a wonderful person to be around. I will miss you Paul. Godspeed my friend.
I remember helping Paul in his home when Jill was gone showing dogs. When I asked him if he needed any groceries he said, "Cookies, ice cream, root beer." You know, all the good stuff! Many prayers for Jill and all of Paul's family and friends.
I sent my heartfelt love to the family of Paul. I enjoyed very much meeting with Paul at the Midwest Ground Water Conference over many years. He was always a wonderful friend to see at the meetings, and a great groundwater scientist. His work will remain as an important contribution to information on water resources in Iowa as well as in general. I will remember him well into the future.

My condolences to the family. God in his mercy took him home. It was sucy a struggle for him to walk but made Mass with Jills help. That is true devotion such a devoted couple. I can see Paul with a camera around his neck taking pictures at Community Theater. May he rest in peace.

Thank you Dad for everything you taught us about loving and supporting a family. Our successes would not have been possible without the constant dedication and hard work you put in our entire lives. We miss you dearly but look forward to the day soon when we can rejoin you in Heaven and rejoice with our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love you Dad.
