To my forever friends Carol, Michelle, Melissa, Mike and Matt, and to all of your spouses and kids, my heart truly goes out to all of you. I know Jim battled this hard, and in the end it was God's fate that he move on to a much better place. And although he will still be with your family in spirit, I'm sure he will be looking down and awaiting the day that you are all reunited again.
One of my favorite memories of Jim was me, as a young kid getting so excited to go with him any time he needed to take his truck to the dump. Hard to imagine getting pumped up for a trip to the dump, but looking back now I realize that it was the time alone with him in the truck that i loved so much. He worked so often, so in the off chance that he had a day off and needed to go to the dump, I looked forward to that drive, the life talk that we always had, and the game where he would whistle a song and I had to name that tune. He always sprinkled in the song from the Andy Griffith show as well as the theme some to Sesame Street.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of Jim's family and friends. God bless and use the Lord's strength to hold you up and remain strong like Jim would want you to be. All my love!
