In loving memory of Rina ~ I was one of her youth leaders at the Salvation Army and her neighbor. I remember her being humorous, bright and a sassy girl who was growing up to be a wonderful young lady. She made her way faithfully to youth programs and church. Her mother visited the Salvation Army and the last time I saw her mother, she was walking with Rina to the Church of the Nazarene. What a great big smile Rina had on her face that day! She would stop over from time to time to chat about school or either youth programs and sometimes she would eat. Once she asked me if I put catsup in my spaghetti which I said WHO does that. I have wonderful memories of her, whether it being in the programs or just the girl next door. My favorite memory is when her mother and I was dancing to a golden oldie, she and my daughter laughed at our efforts, yet they were entertained. She had a great friends, most of which included our youth community at the Salvation Army.
She is one of a kind and she will be truly missed! My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of grief.
May God bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult period; please accept our sincere condolences.
