Obituary of Rina Renee Bryant

Rina Renee Bryant, age 22 went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 14, 2020, joining her mother and grandparents. Rina was born July 22, 1998 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Reginald Bryant and Regina Adams. While living in Iowa City, she attended schools here, for 2 years at City High School before transferring to Harlem High School in Loves Park, IL where she graduated from. Those who knew and loved Rina remember her passion for music, especially singing and dancing in praise to our Lord. She loved her family, especially her brothers. Her family includes her father, Reginald Bryant Sr.; brothers, Reginald Bryant Jr., Rahson Bryant and Ricky Bryant; step-father, Carl Benson; grandmother, Sideria Bryant; and her grandmother, Fannie Carr; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Regina Adams and grandparents, John and Carol Adams. Visitation for famiy and friends is scheduled for 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, August 28th, 2020 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Services in Iowa City, and visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the Funeral service at Noon on August 29th, 2020 at the Church Of The Nazarene, in Iowa City. “Social distancing standards will be in place along with the expectation of all in attendance will be expected to wear a mask. If you arrive without one will be provided to you by the funeral home. Thank you for supporting Rina’s family with your presence and being conscientious in doing so.”
