Your mother was a classic and it is unfortunate that we were not able to get together to remember her and pay our respects.

When I think of Aunt Dorothy the first thing is her smile. She always had a smile on her face. Second is special Sunday dinners. Always a hit. The third is the love she shared with my Dad and Mom. Fourth is that I may not be here without her as she introduced my Dad to my Mom. I always enjoyed Earl and Dorthy. Best wishes.

Oh, yes, we remember singing in the choir at Our Redeemer with both Earl and Dorothy! We could have been a quartet with Earl singing tenor, Dorothy and I singing soprano although one of us could have taken the alto part if it wasn't too low, and my husband, George, singing bass...They were such a loving couple and so nice to 'gab' with! Anyone who met them, were instantly welcomed into a friendship, with Christ as being the center. May He fill the void in your lives with His comfort and love, and keep those memories in your hearts. I am sorry to hear of the death of Dorothy. What a sweet soul. I know your faith will carry you through your grief journey and your memories are precious. My mother in law, Norma Westphal, loved having Dorothy as a friend and that's how I met her. May God's hands cover you with love.
