Lyle enjoyed camping with family (he and his son Cody were the Grill Masters) riding his motorcycle with Tami, watching his grandson Mason play sports, sitting around the campfire and going to watch his son Bobby and grandson Michael compete with their pulling tractors. Lyle never knew a stranger and was always there to help a friend. He never missed out on a chance to eat “all you can eat” catfish and butter beans. He was especially loved by his grandkids. They loved their Grandpa Lyle.
Lyle was a retired Iron Worker with the local 89 and a skilled welder. He made many lifelong friends through the brotherhood. He had fond memories of working alongside his brother-in-law Tim. He enjoyed sharing stories of being an Iron worker.
