Greg and I served together in Berlin. He was the first person I met when I got to the barracks. We hit it off immediately and he became one of my best friends over there. We had a lot of great adventures! Unfortunately, we lost touch when he left Texas several years later. Even so, he was one of my all time favorite people! Condolences to Barbara and Jack.

We are so sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I have never met a nicer man or anyone that loved his dog more. When I met him, he had Scout and the devotion he showed him was amazing. Unfortunately, Scout passed and his next dog was Jack. Jack had a rough life until Greg and Barbara brought him into their lives. He loved and worked with Jack with patience I had never seen. I was one of the people he talked to on his walks with his dogs. He was a very quiet and gentle man. Jerry and I will miss him. greatly. Our condolences to Barbara and a big hug to Jack.

I was so saddened to hear of Greg's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with him and Jack when they passed by my home on their walks.

Oh dear, Barbara. I am so, so sorry. Your obit is so true to point—his kindness rivaled Mr. Rogers. A wonderful guy who married a wonderful, hilarious woman. Please take care.

Dear Barb and Jack (one very special dog),

Our hearts hurt for you. We were shocked when we saw this horrible news. We enjoyed talking with Greg whenever he and Jack ventured up to our street. He was such a quiet, kind gentleman. I remember when you went on your big overseas trip, awhile back, he was very excited and talked more than ever about it.
