I am saddened to hear this news. Growing up Greg and his family lived in far away exotic places and visited us from time to time at the Barrows family farm near Hansen NE and at our Barrows grandparents’ home in Hansen NE. I’ve attached a few pictures from those visits.

One particular memory I have was at the end of the summer of 1967. Greg was to be a freshman at Hastings College and was moving into a dorm there. I had graduated from that school the year before and, therefore, was knowledgeable about it and I helped him move into his dorm room. I believe it was Weyer Hall, which is still a dorm apparently. If I remember right, I drove him there because he didn’t have a car at the time. I may have given him a campus tour, but I don’t remember the specifics of that. I couldn’t find any pictures from that time.

After 1967, Greg & my paths seldom crossed but in 2005 they did and I attached a picture from that time. Barbara was there too, so I got to meet her.
