I’m so very sorry to hear of Lois’ passing. She was a kind, generous, and very witty woman. I loved listening to all of her stories as we chatted over lunches that she would make for us as I helped her with her spring cleaning. I really came to love her and deeply respect her wisdom and knowledge. She will be missed by all. Share your warm memories of her and use them to bring you through this very difficult time. My deepest sympathies to everyone who her spirit touched and especially her family and friends.
My heartfelt condolences to all the family. I will always remember Lois's kindness and generosity to everyone she encountered. She could light up a room full of people with her smile and charismatic nature. May she Rest in Peace.

We are sorry to hear of Auntie Lois's passing. She had such a kind heart! The Niebuhr and Rugger families were always so nice to us Robin, Kevin, and Brian Alexander. Even though I was quite young, I have found memories of staying with them in 1976.
Taking us to go see Chef Bob at the restaurant, running through and breaking their triple pane sliding glass door, and her holding me in her lap as we drove to find the doctor. No cell phones then! Brad showing me how to light firecrackers in pop cans, and playing with those big magnets that go down cow tummies. We also got to visit Grandpa, and Grandma Niebuhr next door!
I know my mother misses exchanging letters, and holiday cards with her.
Thank you Auntie!!
Those last reflections in your Mom’s obituary were so well put - I will always think of cousin Lois with a smile in my heart for her fun-loving, warm and gracious spirit …. And, for her obvious and deep bond with her sister, hubby, and family. I’m sorry for your loss of such a steadfast and loving champion of each of you, and hope your faith, and sense of her loving presence bring comfort in the days ahead. Sheryl Niebuhr
