My thoughts and prayers to you all. I am very grateful that I got to visit with Donna a couple of years ago with son, Mitchell, now 21. She was as I remembered, always welcoming and happy to visit. I remember when I was a freshman at the University of Iowa (1984-85), and I stayed at the house Christmas Break to learn “how to” drive the Cambus. Through the years I would drop by whenever I was in town or passing through. I remember one time, the kids were toddlers, and we all sat on the front porch and watched them run up and down the hill in the front yard. Our last visit, she still remembered that Theo had “scraped her knee all up” on that visit. What a beautiful neighborhood and home to enjoy all those years! I was blessed to have such a sweet great Aunt. I will miss her hospitality, humor, long letters, and her caring personality.
Love,
